The first song I heard by this group was "Sweet Dreams" — remember the video in the bowling alley? Since then, I've discovered two very special female artists, either their music and their ability to play violin and guitar together, two instruments that don't usually meet — yes, Gypsy musicists, kosher (Jewish) musicists, they play violin and guitar together; but it's niche music, a very special kind of.
Today, I'm also discovering a corner of their soul, committed to fighting violence. I was expecting it, but now I have firsthand testimony: so I will keep listening to these two girls, and will continue to do so, with even more and greater conviction.
May your love keep you united and lead you to new horizons, new experiences, new emotions.
P.S.: I too come from an ancient land: it lies at the end of a peninsula. It too was colonized by many peoples, and each one of them has left its own legacy. In Salento, there are still people who speak Greek — an ancient Greek, which even modern Greeks have difficulty understanding. This is why I understand you when you keep speaking a nearly extinct language: it's love for a land, for its memory, for the generations that came before us.

La prima canzone che ho sentita di questo gruppo è stata "Sweet Dreams" – ricordate il video nella sala da bowling? Da allora, ho scoperto due artiste molto speciali, sia per la loro musica sia per la loro capacità di suonare violino e chitarra insieme, due strumenti che di solito non si incontrano – sì, i musicisti gitani, i musicisti kosher (ebraici), suonano violino e chitarra assieme; ma è musica di nicchia, un tipo di musica molto speciale.
Oggi sto scoprendo anche un angolo della loro anima, impegnata a combattere la violenza. Me l'aspettavo, ma ora ne ho una testimonianza diretta: quindi continuerò ad ascoltare queste due ragazze, e continuerò a farlo, con ancora più convinzione.

P.S.: Anch'io provengo da una terra antica: si trova all'estremità di una penisola. Anch'essa è stata colonizzata da molti popoli, e ognuno di loro ha lasciato la propria eredità. Nel Salento c'è ancora gente che parla greco, un greco antico, che persino i greci moderni hanno difficoltà a capire. Per questo ti capisco quando continui a parlare una lingua quasi estinta: è amore per una terra, per la sua memoria, per le generazioni che ci hanno preceduto.
Viva la Sardegna, viva il suo popolo orgoglioso.
